The Golden Scarab - the 3rd doll in the Insectopia collection

I'm glad to present, after a long wait, the third doll in the Insectopia collection: the Golden Scarab.

This OOAK doll was a Integrity Toys NuFace Colette that has been repainted and rerooted with a two tone Katsilk. Her hair is styled on combination of a updo and ponytail and embellished with tiny golden sequins. Also her hands and nipples have been blushed with gold and her nails are black. She wears a OOAK outfit by emiliacouture. The outfit consists of a babydoll dress layered with pleated metallic tulle and golden sequin netting, hem richly decorated with a selection of different shape sequins and supported by an elaborate brass necklace; next is a tailcoat of worn brass leatherette and a pair of matching over knee boots; last a golden ring with a square stone in shade of old gold.

Snow Queen - emiliacouture commission piece for NF

Snow Queen OOAK fashion by emiliacouture is a commission piece inspired by the story by Hans Christian Andersen and by Lady Gaga's Armani dress.

The sheer outfit consists of white catsuit and crystal organza dress and corset all heavily embroidered with beads, a satin cape embellished with feathers and hand painted snowflakes, the set is completed with armadillo shoes and a beaded crown.

Modelled by Nu.Face Nadja.

I'm happy to announce that my work was featured for the second time in the Haute Doll magazine that has merged with the Doll Reader mag. The 5 page article by the wonderful Jill Jackson tells about the inspiration and work behind the Insectopia collections and features the first 2 dolls in the series: Damselfly and Orchard Spider.
